Affordability Complaints - Can someone explain this Uncle Buck email to me?

Uncle Buck responded to me
stating they had already investigated my claim to they wouldn’t be re-opening
it (how I learnt about the time bar) although I’m really confused with regards
to the second half of the email and was just hoping someone could give some
context to the email they have sent me:
“Thank you for your e-mail dated XX. I can confirm that you have previously raised an affordability complaint on the XX and a final response was sent to you on the XX advising that your complaint had not been upheld. Therefore, we will not be investigating this complaint again.
However, Uncle Buck Finance LLP T/A Uncle Buck (the Partnership) was placed into Administration on 27 March 2020. I confirm that Paul Boyle, David Clements, and Tony Murphy of Harrisons Business Recovery & Insolvency (London) Limited were appointed Joint Administrators of the Partnership. They are licensed to act as Insolvency Practitioners by the ICAEW. They are bound by the Insolvency Code of Ethics when carrying out all professional work relating to an insolvency appointment.
If you believe you are due to receive financial compensation, please register your interest with the Joint Administrators by emailing XX Any redress claim you may have will be investigated by the Joint Administrators.
Please note, any complaints raised to the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS), will be directed to Harrisons Business Recovery and Insolvency (London) Limited. They are no longer dealing with any complaints raised for the Partnership.”
Really, sorry for the long-winded post, thanks everyone!

If you defaulted on the original debt then little point in seeking redress. As any redress will simply be offset.3

Once the company entered insolvency, a scheme of arrangement was sort, much like all the other now defunct payday lenders. The eligibility criteria for passing the affordability test has been much reduced under this scheme, so your complaint may be upheld under the new criteria, however, don`t get excited, any redress you may be due, should you complain and win, will be massively reduced due to the finite amount of money available in the pot, average payout is 2-3% of what you may be owed, you may just end up with a few quid, or nothing if you still retain a loan balance.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards.
