We are due to travel to tennerife the end of the month with love holidays. I have revived an email that the hotel is no longer able to occupy us and they will look for an alternative.   Do we have to accept this. If we don’t would we still lose our flight payment iF the flight is still going ashes despite FCO ADVICE

From the LoveHolidays T&Cs: 

If a significant proportion of the Travel Services included in your Package cannot be provided as agreed in the booking, we shall offer, at no extra cost to you, suitable alternative arrangements for the continuation of the Package. The alternative arrangements shall, where possible, be of equivalent or higher quality than those specified in your booking. Where they are of lower quality you will be entitled to a price reduction as described in paragraph 13 below. You may only reject the alternative arrangements we offer to you if they are not comparable to what was agreed in the booking or if the price reduction is inadequate.

Pretty standard for package holidays to have a clause saying they can change accomodation.  As long as the replacement is comparable (i.e. same star rating, same board basis, same resort) then you are unlikely to be able to geta  refund just because of the hotel change.
