Missing codecs

I've just bought a new PC and I'm in the process of moving files etc.
On the new PC (Vista) I can't play some avi files from the previos PC. Missing codecs... Anyone know the best place to get them from? I've had a quick search, but can't find anything.

If you want to use the in built DVD burning facilities in Vista then DON'T use the K-Lite codec pack, use the Vista Codec Package which is available from places like softpedia... or download the K-Lite codec pack from www.filehippo.com0
