VENT: Face Masks

Being a walker, I am appalled at the number of face masks being thrown away in the street, even in places where it has to have been thrown from a car window.
Who do these people think is going to pick up all these masks?

It's not even as if they are stopping the spread of the virus.

I would expect local councils to now provide used face nappy bins. They would need to be perfectly sealed so that any random viruses and snot don't escape!

For those who can't think, I'm not being serious.

Someone I know works in a school and they've been told it's up to them if they wear PPE but if they do they must take it home to get rid of.

The disposable masks is the new single use plastic, it's a new blight on our landscape. They are just idiots who are just lazy, they don't care about what happens to the masks and once they drop them.

In about 20 years time when surviving historians are looking back at the possible cause of the deadlier second wave of the Covid-19 virus that almost wiped out the human race they will agree unanimously that it was caused by all the discarded face masks giving a new breeding ground for the virus.
