Easyjet flight cancellations

Logged onto my easyjet account this morning to find my return flight from Gran Canaria cancelled... Was going to cancel the travel anyway... BUT... Easyjet are processing my request for a flight refund. Our Outbound flights remain active which is plain daft. There are no links in the booking to process a refund request🙈.
Looking for guidance on how to proceed to engage Easyjet to automatically include outbound travel with return travel bookings and simplify the refund request. If applicants just wait for processing there is a clear risk that the remaining flight will fail to be cancelled in time therefor losing the full cost...!!!

I did see some reports that the automated form would only generate a refund for the cancelled flight, and not the whole booking.  Not sure if this is still the case or not.  Best thing to do is speak to easyJet and make sure you get a refund for the lot.

https://www.easyjet.com/en/refund-form now states "Once the online refund request is processed, it will be applied to all flights on the booking, excluding any flights that have already been flown", although earlier versions didn't have this wording.

Looks like they have changed it then.  Shouldn't be an issue for the OP.
  • I have a EasyJet flight only booking from Glasgow to Malaga on 1 Feb 21. Bought and paid for in March this year. On searching the booking site for additional seats on the same flight, I find the flight no longer exists. I phoned EasyJet to be told that the flight may be cancelled but they will not be able to confirm this until 1 Jan. The return flight is still going ahead. I have booked and paid for accommodation in Spain. If the flight is cancelled then EasyJet will have had my money for almost a year. This is a shocking way to treat customers. The Government should not allow this to happen (I know don't laugh). Others with EasyJet bookings should check this out.

It's almost as if there's been some sort of global problem since you booked, that's caused all travel companies to have to review and revise their plans, often at short notice....
