New improved EDGE

Has anyone discovered a way of permanantly removing (new) EDGE from a PC ?
It does nothing for me - that FIREFOX does and that provides a proper menu  !!

If it was installed via the Windows Update then you can't remove it. Any reason why you actually want to remove it permanently other than you don't use it?

That's purely subjective.....Edge has a proper menu, as everything, you just have to know how to use it.
You can remove it through Command Prompt, but, it will just leave you with the legacy Edge which you thought you'd got rid of.

Unpin it from the taskbar and the start menu.  Problem solved.  Out of sight, out of mind.

Always interesting that somebody with such a prolific IT background can't figure out how to unpin in 10...

I sometimes wonder if they're made up.  Like most of the stuff the other regular "woe me" poster - aardvak - often comes along with, although his issues seem more self-inflicted than the OP's.

Just don't use it if you don't want to.  There is no point in trying to remove it.
