Hi,
The Canary Government has brought in free travel insurance underwritten by AXA. Does anyone have a policy document for this in English or Spanish? I cant find it anywhere including Axa.es
Thanks

I read that too although I took it to mean to cover Covid only and only if you contract Covid whilst you are out there providing you are staying in holiday accommodation and not with friends/relatives. So normal travel insurance will still be needed. Bit hazy because most people won’t know they have contracted it out there until they return home and if you travel with it the free insurance won’t cover you either?Think you would have to get more info on booking perhaps?0

it is to cover expenses if you are quarantined in the Canaries because of covid-19.
I read it as you don't take it it out, the Canary Government deal with it.
if your travel insurance covers for covid then these expenses should be covered by them. However, they might say should claim on the Canary Government free one0
