It depends on what you mean as okay. Take it as they have received the payslips and will be passed onto the underwriters to make a decision.Nile_E_Coyote said:On the online tracker- when the payslips go to ticked. Does that mean they're checked and accepted as okay?
The only thing we had back was asking for proof of deposit

3 weeks since application and 2 weeks with payslips. It must have been infront of the underwriters surely? They came back and asked for proof of deposit and instructed the valuation.endangered_newt said:

Surprised they didn't ask for them at the start.0 -
The valuation is irrelevant as this is instructed almost immediately (unless you specifically asked to wait until it is underwritten). The current service levels are 13 workdays from the day the last documents are submitted for complex cases. Have you called your lender to see if they have more information?Nile_E_Coyote said:

Got a message saying offer accepted subject to valuation. So around 9 working days after submitting payslips.endangered_newt said:

Hi All,
First post on this thread. My mortgage broker plans to produce DIP and apply on Monday 21st Dec, it is a joint mortgage, Employed and Self-Employed applicants, we are after 85% LTV. Just got a few questions:
1. How friendly are Natwest with Self-Employed applicants ?2. What additional documents have they asked for so that we can upload them when making the application, particularly for the self employed applicant in order to avoid any delays?
3. Once our mortgage broker formally applies, is there any way for us to track the status of the application online, or only those that have applied directly can track their application ?4. I see that a lot of you were asked for proof of deposit, would it be worth to send these when making the application?5. Lastly, can we include the valuation fee as part of the total borrowings amount or do HAVE to pay them when Natwest instruct valuation ?
Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks very much0 -
I am purchasing my first home, it’s very nerve wracking going through the mortgage process with NatWest. I am currently waiting for the valuation to be done. It’s been a 14 working days since the application was submitted and they did come back and ask for another payslip.
worried they are going to reject!0 -
We applied on 13th Feb, and first thing that appeared on the tracker was Valuation done. Still waiting after providing additional documents. Trying hard to be patient especially when I look at their service levels onlineJoshmichael97 said:I am purchasing my first home, it’s very nerve wracking going through the mortgage process with NatWest.
