Hi Guys,
im guessing when you start asking a million questions it’s a sign of impatience or stress? Bit of both here.

How long has the valuation been taking with NatWest? (Im in Essex)
How long has the application sat on the underwriter stage? how long has the from full application to hearing from underwriter to Offer. We are a week tomorrow since full submission.

Hiya, I’m porting existing mortgage with them and then taking out an extra amount to buy next property. I saw my broker on 07/08, who said he was submitting that day although it was registered as arriving with NatWest on 11/08. Valuation was instructed on 21/08 to take place on 24/08 and the tracker said the report was received back the next day, and would be assessed. It also said they were assessing payslips and bank statements. Checking in this morning, it states mortgage offer approved and paperwork should be received within 5 working days!Live your life until love is found, or love's gonna get you down" (credit to Mika!)1

I’m guessing whenever a mortgage is taken out the process remains the same? It’s taken a while your application if it went in 7/8..we had valuation fee taken out Saturday..how are you able to track it? Did you get a tracking number (application number from the broker)? It will be easier to track this myself saves keep asking the broker!0

Hello, thought I would add my experience and timeline here. I applied to Natwest due to an issue with original application and valuation survey.
01/09/20: application submitted (with all payslips/statements etc)
07/09/20: valuation instructed
10/09/20: valuation visit carried out (with access to property)
14/09/20: valuation report received
15/09/20: offer made.
In total, 2 weeks (10 working days, or slightly less as the application was made in the afternoon and order arrived 8.20 this morning).

We have just moved from Kent to a new build in Essex, our timeline was as follows:
17.07 reserved new build
18.07 applied for mortgage direct
21.07 payslips and ID requested and uploaded plus 3 months from hubby main bank account, my main bank is NatWest and hubby had savings with them
22.07 received email saying approved subject to valuation and valuation booked
07.08 valuation took place
10.08 mortgage offer received
We completed on 28.08.20z
there was a delay when we applied with valuations due to demand but I think it’s worse now to be honest, if you’re a straightforward case then it should be fine (we were both employed full time no dependents no furlough not first time buyers). They don’t ask for payment for valuation until you’ve passed the creditworthiness and underwriting checks. We were also told that it was a physical valuation as it was a new build over £500k, they are trying to do physical rather than desktop where they can apparently.

Heyyyyy
Valuation booked 2 working days after application, payslips requested the same day.
Valuation took place a weekish after application (our application went in on a Thursday if I remember) and we had our offer 3 days later.
Start to finish 10 days.2 -
Just to add, mine wasn't a one off PDL either. When I looked (embarrassingly) and my credit file there were 17 (off the top of my head) on there from 2018 to 20190

On the online tracker- when the payslips go to ticked. Does that mean they're checked and accepted as okay?
The only thing we had back was asking for proof of deposit0 -
