Hoping for a low spends day today. Yesterday turned out very spendy!
Breakfast and dinner will be from stores. Bacon and egg sandwich for breakfast and pasta bake with garlic bread for dinner later.
We are heading to the coast with the dog today so will grab some lunch while we are out and about.
We also need to start making a list of things we need for the van!1 -
I’m sure today won’t be as spendy as yesterday. A list for the van sounds exciting rather than a list of how much it’s going to cost to get it up to scratch for get aways 😉MFW 2022 #71 £4400/£44002

Looks a great van @RelievedSheff. Make sure you get a good handover and see how everything works and you see it actually working. Are they not throwing in gas bottles as part of the deal? I would also expect an EHU cable to be thrown in.
Hope you get as many great holidays in it as we get in ours! We'll be out and about as much as we can now that we are allowed.

We have the hook up cable from the boat. They did offer starter kits but when we looked at the list we had most of the stuff from the boat and what we didn't have we can pick up cheaper elsewhere.
We have just been for a recky of a couple of places we are likely to visit.2 -
Wow, it looks amazing

Just got back home. It's been a long day, been out since 8am!
Took the dog for a good long walk at Saltfleet Haven.
Then on the way back called into the marina to catch up with a few friends and then while we were in the area we called in at one of our regular haunt pubs when we had the boat for a couple of drinks. Was nice to catch up with the land lady who we have not seen for what seems like ages now.
Trouble is we could have had more drinks but we're driving so it was a no no. With the boat I think we would have settled in for the afternoon 🤣🤣🤣
Its been nice to have a semi normal day.2 -
Sounds like you had a great day. That’s the trouble with going for just one drink once you get relaxed you feel like staying.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)1

Hoping for a no spends day today. Its been a spendy week so far!
Breakfast and dinner will be from stores. Full English for breakfast and tonight we are having slow cooked wagyu brisket with roast vegetables and greens.
Not sure where we are taking the dog for his walks today. Will probably be somewhere more local today I should think.1
