popla never accepts the EA2010 argumentthe best bet is plan A in the newbies faq sticky threadplease read itthe keeper can appeal as keeper, because UKPC do not comply with POFA so a keeper has no liability and an easy win , as long as the driver is not divulged to anyone , not to UKPC, not to the landowner eitherthe royal WE will suffice , WE parked , an occupant of the vehicle is disabled and on benefit for it (PIP) etc3

Whos car park was/is this? - that is important.have all parties ( including the landowner) been informed that an occupant of the vehicle has a protected characteristic under the Equality act? From the Plain Language Commission:

How come they are not challenged over the EA act in general?Every stage of their process seems to lean on the side of getting payment, not least that they give a narrow window for your 'further input' via an EMail to your spam folder (I reckon they got themselves put on a spam list themselves, although general public hatred also could explain it). They lie and say they are 'binding'. They have a huge red button on the appeals page called 'withdraw appeal' (with zero possible benefit to the person appealling since it is free). I'm pretty sure there was a link on there for you to pay your fine too. They tell you that 'templates cannot be used' then the cowboys upload gigabytes of template guff, presumably not subjected to any such rules.

How come they are not challenged over the EA act in general? The new proposed Code of Practice from the Government reminds PPCs about the laws, including the Equality Act and the EHRC Code of Practice for Service Providers.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Read this, (no blue badge needed).
https://www.equalityhumanrights.com/en/equality-act#:~:text=Find%20out%20more%20about%20the%20characteristics%20that%20the%20Equality%20Act,%2C%20sex%2C%20and%20sexual%20orientation.Nine times out of ten these tickets are scams, so consider complaining to your MP., it can cause the scammer extra costs, and in some cases, cancellation.
Parliament is well aware of the MO of these private parking companies, many of whom are former clampers, and on 15th March 2019 a Bill was enacted to curb the excesses of these shysters. Codes of Practice are being drawn up, an independent appeals service will be set up later this year,
Just as the clampers were finally closed down, so hopefully will many of these companies, persistent offenders denied access to the DVLA database and unable to operate.
Hopefully life will become impossible for the worst of these scammers, but until this is done you should still complain to your MP, citing the new legislation.

You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0 -
The blue bade is not designated for use on private land, the PPC's have said this when it suites them and also demand it when it suits them they want it both ways. The reality is that the motorist in effect is doing a service in displaying it to help the PPC, and the appeal system should when a correct challenge is made cancel the charge. But of course this is greedy scam land and they twist this to their own ends like everything else, and reject any appeal in favour of bullying for cash.6

You seem to have dropped onto someone else's thread rather than starting your own. Read the NEWBIE thread; it is on first page of the forum. Once you have read it, you will be able to start your own thread where you receive bespoke advice. Meanwhile, Plan A (which you will see recommended in the NEWBIE) is the best attack, so contact the Sainsburys (Manager not customer services) and ask for a cancellation. Proving you were shopping there always helps.2
