POA and pension credit

i am needing to get power of attorney for my mum. She is happy with this. She receives pension credit. Someone in work said it would be free to get (in scotland) as she gets PC. Any advice welcome.

The cost in Scotland is £81 but a fee exemption MAY apply - see http://www.publicguardian-scotland.gov.uk/meta1/fee-exemption#2 Saving for Christmas 2024 - £1 a day challenge. £325 of £3661
