Assume so and offer accordingly. It may not be, but you got it cheap.0

Is there a bay window underneath that has been replaced in recent years? No attached pictures.0

If there is no cracking under the ground floor bay, then it is not subsidence. If the cracks are in the bit of wall between the downstairs and upstairs bay, it will be an incorrectly fitted replacement downstairs bay window. The original windows would have provided some structural support for the upstairs bay. Not all replacement window companies seemed to know that.Probably wants a replacement downstairs bay window with one that provides the correct support.0

Can't see a pic, but I had similar under a bay in my last house. Buyers paid for a structural engineer for peace of mind and all was fine. It's quite common for bays to have cracks under.2024 wins: *must start comping again!*0

Np pictures, so it's all guessing really - but even with pictures the cause wouldn't be immediately obvious.
If you're worried, have a structural chap / lady take a look at it0 -

a) Builders who couldn't do it ran a mile
b) Builders who could do it were all quoting for the same works with no ********.
c) It meant that I had the spec, plus signing off, to reassure future buyers that although none of the walls is remotely perpendicular, it's not going to fall down soon.0
