Current Account Recommendations

Hello everyone,
I am looking for a new current account for everyday spending and a couple of Direct Debits, my income won't be going directly in to this account i will transfer over. I would also like said account to keep letters to a minimum. any suggestions appreciated.

What about Metro Bank? Currently you get £50 if you go via the refer a friend option; see the referral board. You can then recommend to up 5 friends yourself.

I doubt the OP is looking to switch an existing account - if they did, they would surely have said so? That makes the Metro offer irrelevant for the OP's question (although a Metro current account would, like all other current accounts, meet the OP's requirements).

The TSB Plus, on the other hand, could be of interest, and there's the potential for £50 cashback for the OP.

Apart from that, just about any current account meets the OP's requirements, as all can be set to paperless statements and communications. All current accounts can also be used for everyday spending and a couple of Direct Debits, and no current account requires your income to be paid into it.

Thanks for getting back, i will take a look at the TSB and Metro Bank Accounts as long as it is paperless i don't mind, i wouldn't be looking at the refer a friend option as i want this account to be discreet for personal reasons.

For the refer-a-friend offer, you must switch an account, and also meet other criteria. Have you got an account that can be switched? Do you know how to get one if not? Do you know what a switch entails?
