Ryanair "free rebookable flight" swizz

Hi all,
I booked flights with Ryanair to fly to France in September. When booking the flight, they had an offer on which would allow you to rebook your flight for free before the end of the year if you needed to cancel or move it.
I'm within the rebookable period for my flight, and when I go to look at options, the flights they're trying to charge me for are about £4 more expensive than if a new booking is being made.
For example, for a flight from Birmingham to Barcelona on 7th Dec, Ryanair want to charge me £23.99 for the flight, whereas a new booking would only be charged £19.99 for the same flight.
Is anyone else in a similar position?

Really? How much do you have to pay extra taking into account the credit for the French flights? Not sure I could be bothered worrying about £4 to be honest, but might just book myself a flight to Barcelona in December as seems incredibly cheap. Is that return?0

Yep, same happened when they made their offer back in March prices to re-book were more expensive than a new booking - typical RyanAir swizz!I for one will NEVER book with that con artist again. In fact I refuse to even check their prices to compare anymore!0
