double sided tape

Can anyone recommend a strong double sided tape please?  I need to stick my doorbell button on a (white) window/door frame surface.  Found mixed reviews on several brands online, can't decide!

Thanks in advance.

Use foam tape. I think they all are good, even from a pound shop.

its not the tape thats the problem. if you sticking it on to a smooth shiny surface you need to key it on. work out where the actual sticking surface is going to be. and key the surface with a screwdriver of knife. then stick it and it should be fine.
  • Gorilla double sided tape, fantastic stuff. Used it on many different surfaces.

Thanks for the replies.  This is not my actual door  :D but similar.    I'll check gorilla and the foam tape.  Thanks again.

I can't remember the make of the foam tape (as described by grumbler but I didn't need to key the surface of a uPVC door when using it and it stuck like the proverbial to a blanket.  When I wanted to remove the bellpush I had to run a blade behind it to cut the foam and then scrape the remains off.

    This!

Dont bother roughing it up. It’ll stick just fine without it.
