Developer have under measured a plot

I really do think your solicitor should have got this sorted out before you finalised the sale. So I'd either contact that solicitor or the developer or both. It isn't fair that you're having problems with neighbours because of the developer's mistake.
Things like boundaries should have been decided and agreed upon before you signed the contract, in fact should be on the deeds - a copy of which you must have.
What does it say on those deeds? Boundaries are usually marked out properly. This developer needs to come back and have a conversation with your neighbour instead of leaving the two of you to 'fight it out' and fall out. (The last thing you want with new neighbours.) I'd feel like suing the developer for gross incompetence. After all, he's the one who has gone off laughing all the way to the bank.
Please note - taken from the Forum Rules and amended for my own personal use (with thanks) : It is up to you to investigate, check, double-check and check yet again before you make any decisions or take any action based on any information you glean from any of my posts. Verify everything in order to protect yourself as you are responsible for any action you consequently take.0 -
The deeds red line boundary show my plot exactly as it is now. There’s no dimensions on the plans and they are only ever in pdf and not dwg format where you can measure the plots. There’s no issue with my plot. I’m just concerned in order for the developer to make next doors driveway the correct size the only possible option would be to eat into my land. As the other side it is not possible as it’s their cable wall and I’m not willing to lose any of my land.0

If you have a shared driveway, then you will have a right over each others land.0

The only risk for you is it may sour your relationship with the neighbour.0
