Public liability with general house

Hi
I need to get public liability insurance for my new house (it just has a small private road which has public access). Does anyone know of any company who do this with house and contents insurance. I’ve looked at individual Public Liability and it’s as much as house and contents alone.
cheers

All home insurance includes public liability insurance as standard, though they may call it something else... so Direct Line includes Property Owners Liability and Personal Liability in their Buildings and Contents cover respectively but both are a PL coverage.
The question is going to be if the private road is considered part of your property or not and if there are any exclusions that could cause concern though often this is just limited to excluding business activities and domestic staff (who typically are covered under a separate section)0 -
As above really...If the road is on the same deeds as your house then this should be covered under the property owners liability of your home buildings and contents insurance. I would advise double checking though. If it is not on the same deeds then you might be able to add it to your home insurance but only they can answer if that is possible. You may have no option but to go with the separate liability insurance for a road which you have already found.0
