Our daughter starts college full time in September but she wants to work part time to earn a little bit of money, we are not sure if it affects our benefits?
We currently get income support, income based, partner gets high DLA mobility and Care and I care for him as his carer.
Will what our daughter earns working parttime affect any of the benefits such as housing etc?
Thankyou

It's just Income Support.Your daughter is still classed as a dependant, if she's still in full time non advanced education and her working will not affect your benefits.1

Sorry its what I've always called IS, so she can work 16 hours and keep all she earns and it wont affect us at all because she is doing a fulltime course in college? I just wanted to clarify it as I've been getting mixed messages from other sources. Thanks for the reply0

As previously advised. She's still a dependant and there's no maximum amount of hours that she can do, she can work what she wants and it won't have any affect on any of your benefits.
