Landlords/Letting Agents - What would you do if your tenants moved in more people? Update

Agent will have trouble doing anything, especially as they have to give 24 hours notice of an inspection and as you say, the occupants will disappear for the day.

Update - She found out who the landlord is and spoke to him. He is one of the biggest property owners around here. He specialises in HMO student housing and has someone else manage his smaller flats and houses. She knows him very well as she is the HMO officer. According to his records he has a couple in there so didn't even know there was a third person living there since the start practically. He was quite taken aback by it, quite annoyed and something has happened as they are now 90% quieter when they are home and they are creeping in and out sheepishly. Hasn't been this peaceful for nearly 8 months.5

Final update - She tried to call me last Thursday before she went on annual leave for the Friday but I missed the call. Over the weekend they have been moving stuff out of the house so I assumed just the extra people were moving out. I spoke to her today and she confirmed that the landlord had come back to her and said nothing other than they will be moving out asap. Can't say for sure whether he prompted it or they were already going to move but likely he told them to leave.
I was told that he visited them on the 7th. On the 7th they had a very loud party until 2am with the windows open. This weekend they have been blocking everyone's access to the car park with their moving van, being extra loud in and around the house and generally being awkward to all of the neighbours. They've been leaving furniture and bags piled behind people's cars, pretending not to understand/ignoring when people are asking them to move the van to be able to park their cars/get out the car park... Good bloody riddance.. Fingers crossed the next ones are quieter and much nicer people!4
