I need a new bathroom door, would you fit a bathroom door with a half glass panel or not?
Also what internal doors do not need any painting or varnishing other than Sapele doors which I have at present?

Internal doors with glass panels are generally only used for rooms that don't get enough natural light through windows.0

We have half glass in ours, but only because the corridor it's off doesn't get much light so we borrow the light from the bathroom window. I wouldn't bother with it otherwise.0

I have a bathroom door with 2 slim frosted panels at the top simply because the hall the bathroom is off has no windows and no natural light. Doesn’t cause any issues with privacy as the panels are frosted.0

A door with glazing (even frosted) going into a bathroom may be fine for you and your OH / family, but might be awkward if you have visitors and that is the bathroom they have to use.
Personally I wouldn't like it. I also don't like hotel rooms where the ensuite door is not fully opaque.1 -
I have stayed in hotels with trendy opaque glass doors. Horrendous IMHO even though travelling with my husband. So, personally, I wouldn’t go for a glazed door in a bathroom.2
