Do you mean way south, beyond Croydon or near Gatwick?

There are a few more at up to £140K if you filter out the shared ownership and retirement only properties.
Mind you, some of the garages may well have more floor space than the studios. No free lunch, and no free laptop0 -

I am a big advocate of home ownership as opposed to renting, however if I was in your shoes I would save more and wait as your rent is so low. Are you living in London with tent that cheap?1

Hair dressers are definitely open again, I had the full works on my hair just this week.
If you are reasonably happy in your job, and shared rental, why not just keep saving, wait for your prospects to improve. If you are taking professional exams of some kind, career development might be better in London (not knowing what you are doing etc). You don't HAVE to own a house to be happy. It doesn't have to be done within a certain time limit. Wait in these uncertain times.0 -

Some places will be nice, I stick to them for years on. Some places won't be that nice, then it's time to move. (It's very difficult to tell before moving in with these places)0 -

You are correct. This is first time in my whole life I started thinking of ownership but a little prematurely it seems. lol.
These are ACCA professional papers, last three left on them. They are my ticket out of misery that was my previous career in sales!Unfortunately, I had a break from studies in the last three years. Time to dust off those books again.

And I bet some of them look at you and wish they were in your shoes right now!Don't feel pressured to conform to a lifestyle that simply isn't right for you right now. You're much better placed to take advantage of any opportunities that might come up when you've finished these qualifications in your current position.

One example,
I have noticed this when I was applying to move jobs last time. Agencies and recruiters were confused when I said I can move anywhere and closer if required. No doubt many thought I was lying to get the job.
I can imagine people with friends, spouses working, near by schools and communities cannot just uproot and relocate 50 miles away for a job.0 -
Don't get too disheartened. I'm on my own and am just in the process of buying my 2nd house (bought my first on my own too.) I did save hard for my first deposit so that helped. I earn the same as you. I live in East Anglia and 2 bed terrace can go for around £140,000. It must be so hard for people to get on the ladder in more expensive areas but just have a plan and forget what everyone else is doing!2

Have you thought about Margate? Londoners are moving down here in their droves and you can still buy a cheap flat. Close to Europe and high speed to London.1
