Afternoon all,
Sunny here today although temperature is only 13c.
OH made delicious open sandwiches on sourdough for brunch........ham, salami, tomato, red and yellow peppers, onion, topped by melted cheese. To be really good we finished with mugs of tea and chocolate cream cake which was wonderful,.even if there were millions of calories in each mouthful!!
Nothing planned for the rest of the day except some knitting, sweater seems to be flying. I am sure that OH has some sport watching on his agenda, so will watch some of that out of the corner of my eye.
Snoozer.....I agree that Autumn is creeping in, I think that we had our summer in lovely weather in April and a" god knows what" season in between.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend, stay safe.

Brighter Chez Nous, so loads of washing on the line. This is a lovely thread, so thank you for the welcome to Isobel, our first grandchild. Her mum is tired.... as too her dad. Other Grandma will have her first cuddles tomorrow. The new family lives a couple of hours away down the motorway, so I hope Grandad and Nana have a good journey.Jack and the Beanstalk have been busy whilst we were away... growing leaves rather than beans. Anyway I shall pick the leaves and cook them like spinach and freeze them. Qhite delicious and of course very MSE!I shall make a salad with some of the bean leaves together with some nasturtium leaves and some dandelion leaves and some ground elder leaves with some of the gone-to-seed lettuce leaves. The overgrown grass can wait as I need a cup of tea then something to eat.9
