I'm trying to re-insure a relative's car. However. I have hit a problem. The insurance company will not re-insure the car again because my relative's bank card (used to pay for the insurance) is registered at a different address. The car was insured using the address it stays - at all times. My relative stays at this address most of the time. The insurance is more expensive where it stays but the insurance company will still not insure the car. It is important to my relative to do was is legally right. Any suggestions

Changing their banking address to match the car's would seem the simplest solution.0

Your trying to insure the car... his insurers will be the ones reinsuring it.
Why not shop around? This certainly isnt going to be a common problem, most will not ask any questions of where his bank account is registered to.0
