Unfortunately; like an idiot (yes I am an idiot); decided to book a Holiday when (France) was back on the exemption list for travel.
Decided to go on lastminute.com; found some cheap flights. Stipulated two different airlines (but why not right? they both do the same thing). Went to book.com, found a nice hotel and then bobs your uncle, a few weeks later, France is now off the list again and I cannot afford to go due to 14 day mandatory quarantine.
Lastminute.com (Ryan Air and Easyjet) are ABSOLUTELY atrocious. Firstly; Ryanair changes our flights and then emails to stipulate that "As a result of this time change we are offering customers two options, accept the time change or move your flight for free." Only to be informed that this means +1/-1 day of the flight and that I would have to pay extra to change it in the future. Same thing with Easy Jet. Now it seems that I will have to be extra fee's if I don't change both flights with lastminute.com again.
Fast forward to the hotel in France, they do not care if you can or can't attend. There is no cancellation and if you don't attend, tough luck.
Now I am having to pay extra for both flights to be changed in the near future, hoping the hotel allows me to change dates too, and in the hopes that there isn't a further Coronavirus scare in January 2020.
DON'T BOOK DIY OR CHEAP.
I was under the illusion, that as I had paid Ryanair to furnish me with their services at the specific time, that I was entitled to a refund or change in the future with no further fees or dates, but it seems that they can change my flights willynilly even after I have paid? Is that right?
Thanks for your advice. If you have made it this far.

What was the Ryanair time change? If it was a few hours either way then it's a minor change, if they've changed the day then it's a cancellation and you'd be entitled to a refund.
That wouldn't help you with your easyJet flight though. Even though you may have booked them at the same time with the same agent, one flight is not reliant on the other as it's two contracts with two airlines.
If the hotel is non flexible and non refundable then again you have no options other than hope they will show some good will, but they don't have to.
Lastminute.com are not an agent with a reputation for good service. That said they aren't in the "wrong" here. Hindsight is 20/20 though.0 -

I get the impression he probably booked during the pandemic without doing any research.
Caveat Emptor !!
Would have been better booking the lot together even from LM, at least he would have had better protection.0 -
There is nothing wrong with booking DIY or CHEAP.You just need to understand what you are buying, what you are agreeing to when you buy and who you are buying from.Unfortunately booking flights from two different airlines from a well known tin can outfit rather than direct, then booking a non-refundable hotel during a global pandemic was a recipe for disaster.0
