Ex refusing to move

My mum has recently split with her bf they bought a house together, he’s signed the house is now sold,all the paperwork Is done.
He has to be out by next Friday but he’s refusing to move. As My mum moved out last week.

Who have they sold to? Surely he realises he has to move when they pitch up with the removal men and contracts have been exchanged?0

Yes contracts have been exchanged, sold to a young couple all three estate agents and solicitors.

Of course he'll have to vacate. His solicitor needs to have a word pronto!
Angela, why would it come out of his share when it's jointly owned, presumably with a joint mortgage? Each party is equally responsible, not 50:50.2024 wins: *must start comping again!*0 -
They ain’t married an it was my mums house with my dad, my mum an her new bf got a mortgage and bought my dad out As the house had been on the market 6 years previously.0
