hi my flight with easyjet was canceled so I thought I would do the decent thing and accept a voucher as I will book again for next year no voucher arrived and they released the flights but no vou her so I paid by credit card as they are cheep .put a claim in for a refund on my original flights and then 7 weeks later recieved a email with a voucher and was told I'm not entitled to a refund this was not in the small print when opting for a voucher is this legal as the voucher is of no use to me now as it took well over the 30 days to reach me
Thanks

  • Seems to be the general way, if you accept a voucher you don't get a refund.    I don't know why it took 30 days to get a voucher to you - perhaps that is the norm also?   Not sure,  but I don't think I would have booked flights knowing I was due a voucher except if, as you say, they were so cheap you couldn't refuse.   Perhaps you can book another short break away somewhere with the vouchers?
