Stubhub coupon rather than refund

I was due to attend an event in LA in March. It was postponed and eventually cancelled. I had purchased tickets on Stubhub and Ticketmaster to the same event. Stubhub were better seats. Ticketmaster refunded really early but Stubhub have only offered a 120% coupon this week. As I live in the UK how legal is that? I know some US states they have to refund money. I would not use a voucher and want my money returned, less Admin fees if they need to add those. Anyone in the UK having the same problem?

The secondary ticketing industry is rather notorious for being inflexible. Under the CMA guidance if you are unable to use a service then you are due a refund.1

Update. Stubhub have replied to my request for a refund, rather than voucher and say they will refund the money. They are overwhelmed at present, so it might not be as quick as normal times. I’m just happy to have it refunded. So if you have only been offered a voucher/coupon for 120% but prefer the money I’d ask them. I don’t know if an admin fee will be taken yet.Paddle No 21:wave:0
