Builder won’t supply NHBC warranty

Hello, I am looking for some advice.
four years ago I had a new build property built by a limited company. In the contract the builder supplied, it stated and we paid for a NHBC warranty. I have never had to use this before but due to moving homes I need this warranty, I contacted the builder asking for a copy and he let me know his company has dissolved and he will not be supplying one and never actually had this inspection carried out or registered my house. Can anyone advise me on what to do next?
Thank you.

Has his company dissolved? If it has, there's not a lot you can do to retrieve money from him.It is possible to buy new build warranty policies retrospectively. This company helped me find cover for a rather complicated property when literally no one else could. https://lbb.london/insurance/residential-housing-warranty/Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.
