Small stone dent in campervan roof

We have been quoted £2042.00 to repair a small dent in our camper van roof by a stone. Is that too expensive or about right?

Without showing pictures of the damage and the age/make/model of the vehicle no-one knows.

I'm presuming that access to the rear of this dent is going to involve stripping out a fair bit of interior furniture, panelling, insulation...?

As long as not creased a cheaper option would just fill and paint.  I'm trying to figure out if that would be too much of a bodge, but I don't thinks so.

How big is this "small dent", anyway, and why not just leave it?

It's the roof... How often do you even look at the roof?

Perfectly acceptable way of fixing  a dent because the metal stretches when its dented its nigh on impossible to get it perfect only close.

What is the quote for?
