Hotter Shoes

I returned a pair of sandals four weeks ago, via Hermes, no tracking available after 2 weeks, so I rang Hotter and asked if they had received them, Yes they had, and they then processed my refund, minus £5.45p. I know I had to pay a return fee of £2.50p, Not happy about the extra they have taken. I had already paid the P+P when I ordered the sandals.

Have they said what the additional £2.95 is for?

Whilst we do provide a pre-paid returns label, which enables free returns, as well as free postage for an exchange, a deduction of £2.50 is made when a refund is requested, unless:- A free returns offer is quoted (this waives the returns fee)- The goods returned were faulty- Goods returned were incorrect- Returns postage was paid alreadyAlso the £2.95 is paid for the original delivery of the item and unfortunately would not be refunded at the point of your item being returned.0

If you are returning goods in line with your Consumer Contracts regulations right of cancellation and you are returning the full order, they are not legally entitled to withhold the £2.95 original delivery charge.rockydog_2 said:Also the £2.95 is paid for the original delivery of the item and unfortunately would not be refunded at the point of your item being returned.0 -
