Yeah.  You've messed up. You missed a claim form - presumably you didn't ignore that as well? - and then when a Default judgment came through you ignored that. If you'd paid it 2 months ago there'd be no ccj on your record

your ONLY OPTION to credit repair - only in my mind - is to ask PE if they will consent to a set aside. You WILL have to offer them full payment - offer, don't do it until they agree - AND you will be paying £100 to the court for the application

I don't see any other possibility.

No he won't, because of the fact he is disabled and legally allowed more than 3 hours.

He has grounds to make them pay it.  I think they might well do so.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

  • Guys, you have been fantastic to help me like this. I really, really appreciate your time, knowledge and advice. Coupon-mad, who ever you are, you’re a superstar and I wish I could buy you a drink to thank you! Er.... all of the rest of you have been glorious too though!
I’ll get on to this horrible mess tomorrow. I seriously believed that the whole thing was just another hoax. Should I keep you posted on the result in this thread? It may be helpful to other 1950s style dozy tarts out there like me?
By the way... I’m a woman, not a man. I must look at the manner in which I come across on t’internet!

I think trying to explain how they apparently ignored a claim form and then ignored a default judgement despite knowing about it for two months will make a cpr13.3 argument doomed to failure. As a cpr13.3 argument is the only reason I can see for set aside, how are you getting around the absolute requirement to act promptly?  The OP has not done so. At all.

Ems- hang fire. You're not going to get anywhere if you do this alone. You need some assistance if you're tryin the route where you get them to pay, or the route where you get them to consent if you pay.

You've wasted so much time, a weekend isn't going g to matter
