House buying Advice Colchester

I am looking for some advice to buy a property around Colchester with good primary school. I moving into a job which will involve working at both colchester and Ipswich. Which are the area to look specially in between these two cities.

Hadleigh, Boxford or Manningtree would be my choices. Personally I always look to have routes that avoid the A12 when travelling.1

There are good primary schools in each of those villages, lots more in the area as well. Very few bad primary schools, and a lot of the schools have small classes due to their rural location.
Just depends on what you're looking for, as lots of very small rural villages in the area without any facilities/schools, and then other busier villages with facilities/schools. Colchester and Ipswich are both towns rather than cities, with big chunks of agricultural land between them.1
