Smart parking charge notice the airport pub

If you've read the NEWBIES thread, then you know that identifying the driver (even by implication) in your post is not wise. You should edit your post accordingly, referring to "the driver". No need to send a copy of the ticket - they know what was paid for, surely.
Which PPC is this?
And if it's a pub on the airport, then the land may well be covered by bylaws, in which case no POFA.3 -
The PCN included photographic evidence of entering the car park at 16.58 and of leaving the car park at 19.10. I purchased a ticket at 19.03 and paid for 2 hours so was over by 5 minutesWhy did you take so long to purchase your ticket? You only get 5 minutes to do so these days? Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Read what Pete Wishart MP said recently in the House of commons about Smart Parking.
"I am sick and tired of receiving emails from people complaining about the behaviour of parking companies, telling me that they will never again visit Perth city centre because of the negative experience they had when they had the misfortune to end up in a car park operated by one of these companies. I have received more complaints about one car park in the city of Perth than about any other issue. That car park is operated by the lone ranger of the parking cowboys: the hated and appalling Smart Parking—I see that many other Members are unfortunate enough to have Smart Parking operating in their constituencies. It has reached the stage where one member of my staff now spends a good part of each day just helping my constituents and visitors to my constituency to navigate the appeals process.
…
The BPA does not have the ability to regulate these companies and has shown no sign whatsoever that it is trying to get on top of some of the sharper practices. The BPA gives a veneer of legitimacy to some of the more outlandish rogue operators by including them in their membership, allowing them to continue to operate. The Bill will oblige operators such as Smart Parking to amend their practices.Nine times out of ten these tickets are scams, so consider complaining to your MP., it can cause the scammer extra costs, and in some cases, cancellation.
Parliament is well aware of the MO of these private parking companies, many of whom are former clampers, and on 15th March 2019 a Bill was enacted to curb the excesses of these shysters. Codes of Practice are being drawn up, an independent appeals service will be set up later this year,
Just as the clampers were finally closed down, so hopefully will many of these companies, persistent offenders denied access to the DVLA database and unable to operate.
Hopefully life will become impossible for the worst of these scammers, but until this is done you should still complain to your MP, citing the new legislation.

The Airport pub is a pub near the end of the runway at Manchester , owned by Robinson's brewery I believe and is a well known trap for patrons with bad reviews on trip advisor
The blue text template should be used ,as keeper , no mention on who was driving
Yes add a note that WE purchased a ticket and a copy is enclosed
Download and read the BPA CoP , read clause 13 on grace periods , use this in any popla appeal if you get a code , plus other legal points
Complain to Robinson's brewery for a cancellation , plan A
Do not tell or infer who was driving to anyone , Smart do not comply with POFA so a keeper has no liability2 -

Then as stated above, complain, complain and, if that doesn't work, complain again. I wouldn't park in a pub/restaurant car park that charges ME for paying to give them MY money!5

I didnt realise not to mention in forum however I am really rubbish and struggling to figure out how to edit my post! The PPC was smart parking limited and it was for the airport pub Manchester which is at T3. Recently found multiple reviews from others visiting the pub who have also been issued with tickets so looks like this is happening on a regular basis.1 -

As I said in my reply
You can win this on technicalities but not what happened on the day , pofa and grace periods and no landowner authority can easily win this , but not if the driver is divulged, making it more difficult
Walking your kids and getting them in the vehicle is still parking time !!
Follow my instructions earlier to win this on technicalities
Newbies cannot edit their own posts , so pm Soolin or Savvy to amend the post for you3
