I have contacted BG and a plumber will come to investigate, however, they said if it needs to come off then they would not cover for that. Can I call my home insurance for that instead as my home insurance includes leaks and plumbing?

When I knocked on into it , it sounds hollow and yeah maybe i can just take it off and put a silicone back in.

Correct, HomeServe will only fix it if they can access it, Any access issues are for you to resolve first
Home insurance: once again, even if it were covered by your home insurance, your excess would far outweigh the cost, and you would pay an increased premium.
I appreciate that you are an FTB, but you've got to get out of the mindset of running to your LL/insurer/service company for every minor issue. Get yourself a Stanley knife, remove the side panel, and see if you can locate the source of the leak. Repair it yourself or use a local handyman or plumber.
This sort of maintenance is routine stuff, there will be lots of it to come...

Of course it sounds hollow - it's just a sheet of ply with tiles over it. I'd suggest it is removable somehow, because it doesn't appear to be grouted to the bath or floor. The question is how.
