Delivery charges

Hi just wondering the rights if any on items that are delivered and are faulty when it comes to refunds on delivery costs when its part of an order
I vaguely remember reading a long time ago if you have a order delivered of multiple items and part of that order is faulty your entitled to a refund on the delivery charge ..
I ordered some items steel sheets to be exact they was bent when they arrived and not fit for why i bought them from The Range ..they agreed on a refund for the items but not the next day delivery i paid for because oen item i had also ordered was delivered... now I am annoyed because they wouldnt send out replacements for the damaged items and if i still wanted them i could reorder and pay for delivery again which i means I would be paying twice
they say they dont have to offer a refund on delivery as thats the company policy which might be right hence why i am here

Why would they send out replacements, when you asked for a refund? Surely that would be a exchange.
Was next day delivery a extra charge over their std delivery option?Life in the slow lane0 -
If the delivery was one price for all the items and the same price would have been charged for the item you got then you are not entitled to a refund. If you paid extra for it all then they should give you the difference back.0

I didnt ask for a refund I said they agreed on one meaning they admitted the stuff was damaged they refused to send a exchange they said if i wanted the stuff i would have to reorder and pay the delivery again if they had just exchanged the items i wouldnt of come here and if they had refunded the items plus the delivery charge so i could reorder them then i wouldnt be out of pocket for a problem caused by them the next day delivery was £2 more i think over there standard deliveryborn_again said:Why would they send out replacements, when you asked for a refund? Just reject the whole order for a full refund including delivery and then place a new order if you wish.In the game of chess you can never let your adversary see your pieces0
