Looking for sealant for conservatory roof and (wooden) side panels

Dear All,
we have a wooden conservatory with the standard transparent plastic roof panels. The side panels are not PVC, but instead made from wood. We have to re-seal parts of it, but I have no clue how these sealants are called to buy them:
- The black sealant for the roof panels was on the top side of the plastic where two sheets are joined. A metal plate/strip is covering the joint. In addition to the rubber seal, this sealant, which is still kind of soft and sticky, was used to seal this connection between plastic/rubber joint/metal strip.
- The sealant for the wood panels was wood coloured (brownish-red) and still (after years) pretty soft and sticky (notably softer than the black roof sealant)
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

First one sounds like some sort of roofing sealant, second one could be something like a putty rather than a sealant because most sealants tend to set, they remain stretchy and flexible but not normally sticky.

If you're not sure what to get, have a look through the Screwfix or Toolstation catalogue descriptions and pick one which fits the job:

  • 'Stixall' is an excellent adhesive/sealer, and comes in white, black, brown and clear. It sets like rubber so is fully flexible. Tough as boots, and very sticky too.

There may be more specific products for your materials, but Stixall is the best all-round stick-to-anything adhesive I've come across.

Thanks for the comments, I'll have a look. I already searched for products, but there are so many around that I just wasn't sure. I'll now also looking for 'putty' - I hadn't thought of this term before.

Thanks for everyone, but so far I haven't found what I'm looking for. It's either 'sealant' type and drying like silicone or alike or wood filler which gets really hard.
The stuff I'm looking for is, in the widest sense, something like PlayDoh - the material feels different (more oil based), but you can still easily form it, 'tear' it into pieces, stick it again together, etc. Or like hubba bubba bubble gum which has been chewed a little bit. It has this consistency even after a couple of years...
