Hi all!
Just checking in mid-housework. Washing is never ending, I swear
Got two training days at the new job on Wednesday & Thursday so trying to get ahead so I'm not then playing catch up at the weekend for the two days I have not been at home.
Pleased to report all of the ironing got done, kiddos were up and out of the door on time with no dramas so all was well with the world this morningthey have both had one day back already each so pretty much a normal routine day for them again now.
Going to sit down in a bit and switch one of my accounts over to another account I have open at the moment. I'd kept it whilst I was maybe going to use the travel insurance (it was a reward account) but I've downgraded it now and my new wages are going to go into the second of the two accounts, so going to do an account switch with the first so that everything is just in one account again (mostly). Monzo I use for fuel & food as I have round ups set up for my mini EF account which food shopping and car fill ups are handy for
Got my outgoings worked out from my soon-to-be income, should be able to bust a few small debts relatively quickly before the end of the year, then I need to balance saving into my LISA with paying off the rest of the debts. Thankfully the first ones I plan to clear free up around £150 a month and there are a few small other wins to be had that should make that balance easier to manage going into 2021.2 -
Tuesday check-in
Sorted out the account switch, that's all going ahead in the next week or so. Also got a letter in the post as I've been paying an argos monthly care insurance thing on an iPad for a year but cancelled it as OH said it's covered under the contents insurance. The letter was confirming my new premium (unchanged) and checking it is still needed, but also contained a £5 voucher
Had an eBay sale this morning so got £15 from that after postage and fees, going to dig out some Wasgij puzzles I got last year and put them on FB Marketplace, I'm not exactly going to sit down and do them again.
Annoyingly, OH's football top was supposed to be delivered today but couldn't be as no one was home - it's a blooming football t-shirt that I had assumed would go through the letterbox so I hadn't worried too much about needing to be home....! Have re-arranged for Friday anyway, so I know I will be home then.
OH is doing a double shift at work today so won't be home til late, so going to have a bit of a home-spa evening with a nice soak in the tub, mani/pedi, etc

Quick Wednesday check-in from my car before heading into my training day at the new job
Posted all eBay parcels/general letters last night so up to date with everything. I do give myself a few days leeway with the dispatch time but still makes me anxious not sending them off straight awayluckily we've got a few parcel post boxes not too far away so don't need to rely on post offices unless anything is sent tracked.
Couldn't find my puzzles last night so will have to take a look in the shed and see if they are buried in there somewhere.
Over this weekend I am going to go through boxes that have never been unpacked since our move into our current rental 6-7 months ago, we've not needed anything in them since we moved so if there is anything that can be sold I can't see any reason why it shouldn't be! Well and truly got the bug for decluttering & selling at the moment

It was very busy but very fun! Did an early one this morning so just got home from that, time to put some washing on the line and make the most of the sunshine.
Puzzles were unearthed so put them on FB last night although no interest yet, but would prefer not to put them on eBay as the postage will probably end up being half the cost of the items. I did manage to flog some a pack of unused razor blades from an old subscription on eBay though within a few hours, plus I suspect there may be more laying around somewhere at home so that could be another few quick pounds to make and they can fit as large letters so postage is cheap and cheerful.
Looking forward to rooting through the rest of the house for stuff to sell but will do that on Saturday when I've got the full day all to myself

Happy Friday forumites!
Been a more chilled day today, got most of the washing done and dried outside whilst it was dry and windy. One of my puzzles sold on FB for £5, was a cash payment so just popped that in our (bought but never used) terramundi pot rather than go into the bank. I seem to keep finding things I bought but never used, hence the decluttering and selling!
Relatively uneventful weekend ahead planned, tomorrow will be finishing off the washing and catching up on housework. My main job is going to be sifting through the shed for things to sell.
Still waiting for my meaty survey to pay out on Prolific, I think the 24th is the latest it can be approved by Prolific themselves so not too much longer to wait.
OH is currently napping on the sofa, the cat is having his usual evening nap, so it's just me awake at home at the moment
Can't complain too much though, means I can get on with some life admin in peace2 -
Daily check-in time
Two wash loads done today and drying outside - will miss being able to do that when the weather cools down.
Haven't headed out to the shed yet but have half-heartedly dug around in my wardrobe and drawers and have put some perfume miniatures on eBay along with a pair of shoes I have never worn. The perfume miniatures I think I got to give someone as a gift last year (or the year before....!) and never did. Anyway, the miniatures have a watcher already and the shoes have a bid so will definitely get some money on Wednesday one way or another.
Need to get myself motivated to get to the shops and buy some child sized coat hangers to be able to put away most of the kid's clothing - they went off to their mums with most of the clothes we have here a while back and the hangers never came back. That will help downstairs look considerable tidier once I can put that ironing away.
Food shopping won't be done for a few hours yet as I either go super early or quite late, and couldn't be bothered to get out of bed super early when OH went to work
I do need to double check my baking cupboard before I go as I'm going to make OH a birthday cake, so need to make sure I've got enough of everything to do so.
Lmao - thought I had posted this before I went to the shops - oh well, founds some hangersxx

Well done on the sale and declutter. Nice to have some hangers and feels good to be organised.
Have a lovely weekend

Morning all
Pleased to report that both items now have bids on, the perfume miniatures also has 5 watchers so should get some good money in on Wednesday
Lovely and sunny here so just doing some top up washing to hang out on the line and hopefully get the pool out for the kids to splash around in this afternoon.
Food shopping came in under budget which is good, even with picking up birthday candles and bits and pieces. We're taking the kids out shortly to go shopping so I'll get them to pick out a few smaller bits to wrap up and then I should be able to crack on with some No Spend Days, up until Thursday at least
Not much else to get done today, a small bit of ironing and packed lunches ready for the kids for tomorrow, other than the above I just plan to put my feet up and read some of my book2
