Universal credit and temporary work

Options
Hello, my daughter has recently started claiming universal credit as she lost her job due to COVID-19. I may be able to get her 5 weeks work as a chaperone , although she would not be paid straight away (Up to 3 months later).
1. Does she inform universal credit straight away or does she inform them when she get paid?
2. Does her claim go on hold for a period of time or does she have to reclaim?
3. Finally, if she doesn’t find another job straight away how long does she have to wait before receiving universal credit again and is there a cut off for the amount of earnings for the temporary job (she could earn up to 3k).

I am sorry for all the questions, she is new to claiming and I have no clue how universal credit works.

3 months seems a long time to wait to be paid.
She should report any employment when it starts.
if she is paid through PAYE then UC will be notified of her earnings by HMRC. If she is not paid through PAYE she will need to report her earnings herself. Earnings are taken into account in the assessment period in which they are received.
The UC claim will continue but there will be a deduction of 63% of her earnings. If there is no UC payable due to the earnings received the claim may be closed. The UC journal will remain open for six months and she can make a rapid reclaim through the journal.

    Lots of info here https://www.understandinguniversalcredit.gov.uk/
Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Some rules may be different in other parts of UK.

That's well shocking with the pay, I wouldn't work for anyone who pay me 3 months after, not a chance!

The chaperone opportunity is via a talent agency. You get paid when they get paid  which unfortunately is usual in that industry. The work will be for a massive corporation so hopefully they pay quickly.
