Best dividend stocks

That's a good way of doing it, I think.Vet said:
I mix mine up currently with accumulation funds and dividend paying funds through the Vanguard ISA platform.Type_45 said:Hi all,
I'm a long time investor in VLS60 (acc) within an ISA.
But I'm now thinking of also investing in dividend-paying stocks (again, within my ISA).
Any thoughts on the best dividend stocks?
Variety gives you the best of both worlds
I've split mine into approx:
51% LS80 (acc)
19% Retirement fund 2050 (acc)
30% VHYL (income)
I do now think that I should have gone for VLS80 instead of VLS60. I've been very happy with VLS60, but I am fairly young (44) and don't mind a bit of risk as I have no plans for the money as yet.

Thank you all for your comments. They are much appreciated 🙂
For anyone who may be interested to know what I decided to do:
I have not gone for dividend paying stocks. I have instead satiated my desire to be a bit risky by buying some VLS100 (acc).
I ready have VLS60 (acc). And with my new VLS100 (acc) I roughly have 66% equites and 34% bonds.
As I said above, I have the risk tolerance for VLS80, but at the time I made my initial purchase I was reading (Monevator) that 60/40 was the right split, so that's what I went with at the time.
My next few tranches of money with be with VLS100 to top up equity slightly.
A bit unorthodox I suppose, but I don't suppose it makes much difference how you mix the VLS products to get your equity/bond split?
