Our income last year was £8000
My husnand has got a new job he will be on £17000 a year. He will end his carers claim.he will be working 37 hours a week.
I will still claim carers which will be £3898 for the year.

Does anyone know how this will effect our claim.

You will need to report the changes to HMRC.

  • Our income now will be £17000 +4000 =21000.
Will we get the ctc threshold of £16385+ the working tax threshold of £6035?
    Or one or both?

Tax Credits are notoriously difficult to calculate - you need to use a calculator as suggested by poppy. Use two to see if you get the same answer.
Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Some rules may be different in other parts of UK.
