I do believe that PayPal credit is treated in the same way as a credit card where Section 75 is concerned, so I'd go for that. But I'm really surprised that ebay has allowed this to be closed so soon. They don't usually do that. I'd chase ebay as well as contacting PayPal because they can't allow sellers to get away with that kind of thing, surely? It's robbery, with a touch of fraud.sarahking87 said:
Thanks, yes that’s a good point. I’ll see what happens with PayPal and may pursue that avenue if I don’t get any successKeithP said:You mention Paypal Credit.
I wonder if Section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act can help?
I know in the past a S75 claim has been difficult with Paypal involvement, but now they are offering credit themselves...
But I would never give up until I had a full refund, exactly as pinkshoes has said! Please note - taken from the Forum Rules and amended for my own personal use (with thanks) : It is up to you to investigate, check, double-check and check yet again before you make any decisions or take any action based on any information you glean from any of my posts. Thanks, I’ll see what happens with the PayPal dispute and I’ll certainly give it a go. eBay didn’t seem all that interested and said the issue had fallen just outside of the 30 day return period. They did say they’d support a dispute through PayPal buyer protection, but by that point I’d already seen there was no other recourse through eBay and gone directly to PayPal anyway!MalMonroe said:
