I keep on having to go on to scottishpower.co,uk to revert my billing to £35 per monrh - Scottish power keep on changing it to £60 - the expected result being a debt of £145 which is covered by Warm Homes - why won't they leave my billing as I have set it ?

Because the WHD isn't a guaranteed payment and the awards aren't made until some time in October ??

But - they estimate that by the end of the year - if I pay £40 - I will be £360 in debt !!
    This is NOT true
For the last 10 years - my billing has been £30 max per month
and even then - I have built up credit
    I am a fairly low user !

Disregard your past £30 per month, thats not relevant. What is relevant is your unit consumption and your unit rates.

£30 a month "billing" in the summer is plausible, but £30 a month "billing" in the winter sounds too low unless you happen to live in a property that's triple-glazed, is insulated to the heavens and then some more, and you rarely run any form of heating at all, preferring thick jumpers and blankets.

Is this dual-fuel or electric only?  If its electric only then a £30 a month "bill" is ridiculously low by any stretch of the imagination in the winter.

What is your annual usage and your unit rates and standing charges?

    Rates?  Standing charge?
