I've just moved to a new property in London and my letting agency has a partnership with this company called Please Connect Me - essentially, they promise to get you the best deals on all your utilities and register the new property both for energy and water. All that in just a single call.
I've read their reviews on Google and Facebook and people seem very satisfied, has anyone ever used their service - would you recommend it?

I wouldn't bother, no substitute for doing it yourself.
Find out your current gas and electricity suppliers, contact them, give them a meter reading and get an account set up.  Then jump on the comparison websites yourself.  Water supply you can't switch as a home user at this time.
If you have no previous usage use the national 12k for Gas and 3k for electricity unless you have some previous figures but don't take them as gospel as the usage will vary depending on property makeup and type and insulation and whatever else.  If you lived in a 1 bedroom house and move to a mansion your previous figures will be well short for example.

Websites like these have a vested interest, what's good for them isn't always good for you.  They work on a referral scheme at a basic level, they get money by signing you up to providers on tariffs that will almost certainly not be the best for you.  They do nothing that you can't do yourself.

They will not get you the best deal for you - they'll get the beast deal that they can for them and their sponsor's based on the introduction fees that they get. You could end up being signed to a deals which actually are not advantageous to you and with high exit fees as well if you want to change.

As Neil says, they don't do anything that you can't do yourself.

This is on the front "Partners" page of their website

Add effortless revenue to the bottom line of your business, with a value added service that cares about your clients

Where do you think this "effortless revenue" comes from. Someone ends up paying - and it will be you -  they don't do this stuff for free because they are nice

I have seen a couple of adverts for this (or a similar) company.  Basically, as said above, they will not do a better job than you yourself could do.  I find it very difficult to imagine any employee working harder than you would yourself to get a better deal.

For instance, would they pick up that you would be entitled to the Warm Home Discount? And apply for it on your behalf?

Like insurance brokers, they will go for whatever gives them a better return, not you.
