Food Processor Recommendations: Magimix or Sage or Other?

Hi
I am looking to buy a new food processor. Ideally I'd like it to be able to grate raw beetroot however I know this is a tall order.
I was looking to spend a little more in order to get a product that would last many years.
There's currently just two of us but we like to bulk prep our meals.
Many thanks for any advice/insight.

A food processor or a veg prep?
The robot coupes are good.

Our Magimix is around 14 years old. The bowls don't last forever. We replaced the bowl a while back and recently the lid failed. They no longer supply the original lids, but they would supply a new bowl and basic blades set that would fit the old base (the new bowl wasn't compatible with all the old blades). The set was discounted, so, although it cost more than just buying a lid, it wasn't too expensive.Adamc said:

Robt Coupe is the commercial brand and Magi mix the consumer brand.
so decide on the level of price/robustness you need.
For 2 people I would say the Robot is probably overkill on cost but they are well regarded in the trade.1 -
Just replaced a Magimix (with another one) after about 20 years. Reliable and easy to use. Wouldn't have the call for a professional version in my household.1

This model is currently on offer. It's only available at Currys so I don't know if that's a drawback (in terms of getting spares and repairs) as other models are much more widely available. Might give it a go.

Which model did you go for and are you happy with it? What sort of things do you frequently use it for?giraffe69 said:Just replaced a Magimix (with another one) after about 20 years. Reliable and easy to use. Wouldn't have the call for a professional version in my household.0 -
The one I've gone for is virtually the same as the 3200 Compact.giraffe69 said:
Replaced a 3200 with a 4200. Yes happy with it. Making pate, mayo, chopping veg. Nothing too demanding.Adamc said:
