There is no certain answer here.. your supervising social worker/link worker will be able to guide you more. For generic information look at BAAF and things like fostering network.
I'm a supervising social worker for foster carers and even I couldn't give you an answer as there are so many variables. Are you approved as foster carers already? Approved to adopt. Different processes. Even when fully approved it might take ages for an appropriate child to come into the care system and even then they may be twin or triple tracked. Good luck with it though as we deffo need more people stepping forward so thank youAn answer isn't spam just because you don't like it......0
