Software to find and delete multiple mp3 in various folders

Ive got various folders with a lot of music in them, can anyone suggest software I could use to delete the folders so whats left is just 1 folder of the album or 1 mp3 of just the 1 song.

Do you mean ... delete all duplicates and retain only a single copy of each track for an album; repeat for each album?

Thanks DoaM, yes that's exactly what I'm wanting to do rather than in 3 or 4 different folders.

From a bit more searching I found "Free Duplicate Songs Finder" and "Similarity", Ill use Similarity at the weekend as it will take at least 5 years due to the number of duplicates it found.

I use MasterSeeker to find stuff. Super fast compared to windows search.

Sounds like you found what you wanted but its a useful tool to know about.

Question: do all your MP3 files have sufficient IDTags filled in? (These will be needed to ensure any program can accurately identify duplicates and resolve them into their respective artists and albums. Single tracks also need to be considered).

If you want an MP3 manager (ID tags, playlists, cover art, duplicates etc) then I like Media Monkey
