Travelex are offering you the slightly better rate.

For £100 they would give you €144.67.

Lloyds would only give you €142.40

isn't it better to get from the post office as they buy back your unwanted euros?

They all will buy them back. Its the rate that they buy them back. Normally 10%+ more than they sell them ie 1.58Euro/£. Travelex will buy them back at their sell rate for £3.50
  • Don't forget about the delivery charge - some can charge upto £5 and if you order online with travelex you get a really good rate, but they only deliver to an airport or seaport, which is a bit awkward if you have a tight schedule and the last thing you want to do is to hang around in a queue - i had to wait ages once and my girlfriend wasn't happy!

I've just ordered from First Direct today and they have an offer on until August.

At the end of the day, if they don't get you on the commission, they'll get you on the exchange rate - good luck!

Depends where you're going - you're quite likely to get a better rate by taking sterling and exchanging when you get there (eg you could have matched the 144.67 last Friday at any bank in Greece and I think the euro has dropped since then).
