When I asked the AA about accidents, the reply was they would come out, and help get the car mobile if they could- e.g. change a burst tyre, gaffer tape a broken bumper on, otherwise you pay for recovery. You'd have to pay for recovery anyway- your insurance claim would include it.

I want to go back to The Olden Days, when every single thing that I can think of was better.....
