Appreciate any help - 1st post so hope it's in the right place!
it's a messy scenario...mostly relates to implied disinclination to travel...add to that an annual policy which expires before travel and renewal doesn't include Covid cover ...
Annual policy taken out 3rd Sept 19 and expires 2nd Sept 20 - travel period end Sept and early Oct 20 and booked in Dec 19.
So we have some vouchers to get us to and back from Hong Kong and can be cancelled and rebooked. All good.
Regional flights from /to Hong Kong to Koh Samui have been cancelled by airline - non cancellable/no refund. Start of insurance claim.
My difficulty is with our hotels which are all independently booked and are all non-cancellable/no refund and paid for. Flight cancellation renders hotels unusable but if I cancel these (in order to have the necessary cancelled documentation for insurance claim) is this considered 'disinclination to travel'?
